JDK 1.1.1 thread-patch breaks vdump .....

Hi,

The thread-patch required to run the JDK 1.1.1 under Digital Unix 4.0b
(DUV40Bpthreads-BL6ER) apparently breaks vdump. I've installed this
patch about a week ago and today I discovered that vdump just dumps
core and exits:

# vdump 0uf /dev/rmt0h /
Memory fault - core dumped
# dbx /sbin/vdump core
dbx version 3.11.10
Type 'help' for help.
Core file created by program "vdump"

warning: /sbin/vdump has no symbol table -- very little is supported
without it

thread 0x6 signal Segmentation fault at >*[., 0x1200451b4] ldq
r1, 40(r12)
(dbx)

Anyone know a cure for that? I've already tried to use the old
/shlib/libc.so without success.

Thanks -- Tom
