Hi,everybody:
My original question was:

Thanks to "Dr. Tom Blinn, 603-881-0646" <tpb_at_zk3.dec.com> .

> The best way for you to understand the differences is to get the kit for V4.0B and read the release notes. You will also find a new Installation Guide and a new System Administration manual. The Guide to Preparing Product Kits manual was also delivered in V4.0B for the first time.
> The V4.0B release notes list about 25 pages of new and changed features from V4.0. So there is no simple way to answer your question about the difference.
If you are considering upgrading from a V3.2x release, you want to go
to V4.0B, not to V4.0. If you are currently running V4.0 you have the
right to upgrade to V4.0A or V4.0B at no additional license charge for
the base UNIX system software -- all you need is the media kit.
