SUM: DU 3.2 to DU 4.0 - upgrade or reinstall?

Hello,

thank you all for your very fast response. I received the first answers less
than 10 minutes(!) after I got my question.

As there are no special software packages installed on the machine (there
are only a few minor changes since the installation) I will do I complete
reinstall.
