Well:
I got one reply from David Warren <warren_at_atmos.washington.edu> who

As I've already installed the java patch, I'll have to do the latter:
Run baselining, install the jumbo patch and re-install the java
patch. Good that I only have two systems to maintain.
Thanks David for your reply.

Here's my original posting:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I need to run the JDK 1.1.1 on both of my DU 4.0b systems. It requires
the accompanying patch to be installed. Now what if I want to install
the duv40bas00003-19970425 jumbo patch as well? The mandatory patch
in this patch-kit complains about an unknown /sys/BINARY/inet.mod
which results from the JDK 1.1.1 patch.
So my question: Is it possible to install them both? Did anyone
manage to do it? Will it let me install some patches from the kit without
this mandatory patch? Should I just fool it by temporarily putting
the original /sys/BINARY/inet.mod in place and replacing it after the
patch installation (before the new kernel built of course) ?
Thanks -- Tom
