[S] DT messaging system can not be started ...

With DEC's help, I finally got an answer (I had to go through 3 support reps!)
I have a fully qualified machine name that is longer than 32 characters. They
are supposed to have a patch for it. I'm waiting for them to let me know what
it is. In the meantime, I changed the name to be something shorter.
