Hi
After installing the patch duv40aas00002-1997050 on a DEC 500 (running
DU 4.0A) Matlab (or in particular the matlab licence manager) which is
also running on that machine stopped working. The error generated was:
/sbin/loader: unresolved symbol in /usr/tmp/lm_TMW5.vd1
Uninstalling patch 124.00 which targets /sbin/loader did not solve the
problem, only by uninstalling all patches did matlab begin to work
again. The patch installs fine and seems to have no problems on
machines not running matlab.
Can anyone shed light on this problem, and suggest ways we may get
both the patch and matlab working?
any comments or help will be most appreciated,
