Getting to console/bootprom prompt

Hi All!

I have a fairly simple question that I can't seem to find the answer to
anywhere... Our shop is primarily Sun so I don't have a lot of experience
with Digital Unix/Digital Alphas (so please forgive my naivete.) Currently
I am using a Cisco Access Server to get console access to my DEC Alpha. I
was wondering if anyone knew how I can get to the >>> prompt from my
console access server? I am not sure what the key sequence is (normally a
break works on a Sun, but that doesn't seem to be the case here).

Also, on a single processor machine, how do I configure automatic reboots?
For example, the manual states that to enable unattended reboots on
multi-processor machines:

>>> set boot_osflags a
>>> set boot_reset off
>>> set auto_action restart

But this doesn't seem to work on my single processor machine. If the
power goes out or the machine is unintentionally rebooted, the machine
remains at the >>> prompt until boot or init is typed here. Does anyone
know a way around this problem?

Thanks for all of your help!
