can ping local but can external

I have a 255/300 that willn't ping outside of out network. But it can ping
inside. But it can telnet outside the network just fine. I checked out
our router config and it shouldn't effect anything. Also traceroute has
the same problem as ping. We have tried a restart and also killing and
restarting inetd.

We are running V4.0

Kinda Wierd.
