LaserWriter 310 compatibility with DU?

Has anyone managed to get an Apple LaserWriter Select 310 working under
DU? We have one attached to the parallel port of our AlphaStation 255/233,
and while catting a postscript file to /dev/lp0 works, catting text
doesn't, and I haven't been able to find a printcap entry to make it
work at all with lp/lpr.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
