Hi,

I have some problem regarding printer queue being wiped out after
sometime when printer if ofline.
 I have
Digital UNIX V4.0B (Rev. 564) running on DEC-ALPHA 255/300 Workstation
Following is my /etc/printcap

lp|lp0|post:\
        :br#9600:\
        :ct=dev:\
        :lp=/dev/tty00:\
        :mx#0:\
        :sd=/usr/spool/lpd:\
        :sh

-
My printer Apple Laserwriter - and it is postscript printer on
my serial port.
The problem I face when I submit printing job, through lpr
and printer if off. After one hour the print job gets wiped out
form spool.
I think this problem is something to do with hardware settings
of my serial port. Can anybody has an idea what is happening.
I am new to administration of osf/1 machine.

 Thanks in advance.
