Memory Options on Alpha 1000/233

Simple question (I hope). When adding a bank of memory
to an Alpha 1000 system, the bank needs to have 4 SIMMs
and one ECC SIMM installed for the bank. The SIMMs are
parity SIMMs, but will any parity SIMM and ECC SIMM on
the market work in the 1000? DEC memory, while "supported",
is pretty dang expensive compared to the rest of the
memory of this type available in the marketplace.
