I am trying to repartition the root drive and increase the / partition and
the swap partition. I looked through the archives and found a few entries
and one said that in order to use disklabel on the root drive that you had
to boot from cd and enter into maintenance mode. So I booted from cd but
am not sure how to get to maintenance mode. I get to the installation
setup screen where you can select a default or custom installation but am
afraid to go any further as I dont want to risk doing a new installation.

How do I get to maintenance mode? and is this the correct way to
repartition the root drive?
