Altavista tunnel and ipforwarding

Hi managers,

Time for yet another new and innovative question. I have an
Altavista Firewall running on a 3000/300x. On it I am running the
Altavista Tunnel group software. I have been able to establish
connections to the tunnel server, but I have not been able to connect
from the remote client to any host on our network. I have made a route
on the local network host to the tunnel network via the firewall.

Do I have to turn on IP forwarding for this to work? The manual
doesn't indicate that, and I am worried about security implications of
that. As expected, the sales guys are not of much use here, but they
swear that this is a good, secure, configuration.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.
