Question:Preventing multiple users & DU tuning

G'day Sysadminers,

I was wondering if there was a way to prevent users from logging on
multiple times to a
UNIX account. All users use tcp and pseudo-ttys to connect. I want to do
this to try and
limit the people from issuing multiple large application queries at the
same time.

I was thinking I could check when the person executes a common logon
script...your
on so you're out. Any other ideas?

                         TIA, Craig Makin

PS. Anybody know of any good white papers/publications on tuning Digital
UNIX and Oracle?
