Michael and Alan both pointed out that physmem is not needed in OSF/DU.
Michael pointed out the dxkerneltuner command, which revealed that
data-limit-per-proc
was set to 128Mb. We've upped that to 3*128Mb, which should take care
of the problem. This command also allows direct tuning of many other
kernel params, including maxuprc.
And yes, we really do need to create arrays larger than 128Mb (for image
analysis).
