to answer to my request to upgrade OSF/1 from 3.2A to 4.0B or 4.0C
The answer was to perform the following steps:
3.2A --> 3.2C --> 4.0 --> 4.0B
The 4.0C is a version to new hardware.
OR install a clean version 4.0B directly.
Another questions:
I have UFS on root (/) and ADVFS (/usr domain#usr) on my two RZ26L disks.
I change one of my RZ26L by a RZ28 disk.
I have hearded that I increase the root partition.
How make this on a RZ28 or RZ26L disk (rz?a is 64Mo and actually rz3a is
the root partition)?
I prefer to not reinstall softwares (third party) completly and my many
accounts with their mails and environments.
How can I perform news partitions (for / UFS and /usr ADVFS) on my RZ28
(/ and swap) and /usr on the rest of RZ28 and the totally of my RZ26L?
Can I restore (via vrestore) my backup / et /usr and apply the upgrade?
Thank's in advance
