It appears installing Informix Online 7.20.UC4 along with the
OSF365-360070 patch automatically utilizes KAIO. No config file changes
are necessary.
No one was able to provide a method to verifiably confirm Informix's use
of KAIO, though. Benchmarking was suggested, but so far we have not
detected any performance gain.
