Hi,
My DEC 3000/400 (OSF/1 2.0) has a little problem for the last two
weeks. The console occasionally shows:
ln0: lost carrier:check connector
I can ping to other machines and other machines can ping it as well.
The problem is that I have a program running on another machine which
needs to communicate to it regularly. Sometimes the communication gets
dropped off because of the "lost carrier" problem. I have tried to
change adapter and cable, but it doesn't help. Any suggestion?
