[Summary] dual screen system

My original question was how to get multiple displays to act as one,
i.e., to be able to drag windows from one part to another.

who recommended installing the PanoramiX kit on the associated
products CDrom. That & three command lines (stop X, enable panoramiX,
start X) did exactly what I wanted.
