Dear Managers,
Many thanks to all who replied. All suggested using the command "set
ewa0_mode Twisted-Pair" at the console >>> prompt. I had done that,
however the interface would go back to Autosense mode if the computer is
either reset or power-cycled. I later found out, though that I have a
malfunctioning network interface and it was not picking up the carrier
from the networking hub. I shall repair and try again.
My question follows.
