Dear Gurus,

Thanks to you: Sheryl A. Campbell, Per Ivar Emanuelsen, Bernt Christandl,
               MC. Vialatte and Steve VanDevender.

1) After having upgraded to DU4.0b, my NCD tube could not load the fonts.
   B. Christandl told me to copy "everything" (the fonts that come with DU
and the NCD fonts) to a common location under /tftpboot and specify the
paths in the config files of the NCD terminals.
This worked ... BUT The NCD terminal could not read the DEC compressed
files (*.pcf.Z). Instead, I hade to use the uncompressed pcf files that
   come with the NCD software.

I still have some problems, however, and I'll post another question

2) After the upgrade, I had registered the unlimited OSF-USR licence from
the DecCampus CD-ROM, but my system still insisted that I was allowed
   only four users.
This comes from the fact that both licences (limited and unlimited) were
registered, and the limited licence has precedence over the unlimited one
(clever, no?). Thus the base licence had to be deleted this way:

# lmf list full for osf-usr

--> two entries, one being called UNIX-SERVER-IMPLICIT-USER

# lmf delete osf-usr DEC UNIX-SERVER-IMPLICIT-USER
# lmf reset
# lmf list
--> only one entry, that from the CD

Cheers,

Jean-Loup
