Thanks for all the responses I got. A lot of people responded so I wont
list everyone here. I have included the best solutions below.
Question:
Is there any way with sendmail on Digital Unix to block e-mail from
certain addresses? Ive got a get-rich-quick person who is just
bombarding our site with mail each day. Hes setup somehow to where you
cant return his e-mail or get to his site. The only thing I know to do
is block his e-mail. Any suggestions appreciated.

If you're using Berkeley sendmail (not the one distributed with DEC-UNIX
I think) there are some things you can do.
Take a look at :
http://www.sendmail.org/antispam.html
For more general antispam stuff look at :
http://info-sys.home.vix.com/spam/
Here you can find a lot of pointers to useful filters etc.

I haven't tried this myself, but I know the newest version of
sendmail (8.8,6) can be compiled with support for tcp_wrappers. You
could then just put GRQP's address in the /etc/hosts.deny file, I
should think.
On a per user basis, you could use procmail or slocal (slocal
is part of MH) to block it also.

grab smtpd from
http://www.cih.com/~hagan/smtpd-hacks
and configure it to get rid of either his address, or non-resolving
sites.

sendmail v8.8 has what you need. Go to
http://www.sendmail.org for
details. Otherwise, you can find out where he's spamming you from and
do a port 25 block for just his site.

If you have elm installed you can also write filter rules and put
them in your .forward file to delete any mail coming in from different
sites. To accomplish this, look at the man page in the elm/man directory
for filter. (nroff -man filter).
hope this helps,
