We have recently transferred the functionality of one of our Alpha
servers to a cluster of two 4100's running DU 4.0a. Since then, we
have not been able to FTP anything over ~1-1.5 K to either of those
two machines from another Alpha 2100A running DU 4.0. After about
10-15 minutes, we get a message back saying :
426 Data connection: Connection reset by peer.
...and we are dropped back to an ftp> prompt. The file is created on
the remote side (on the 4100), but it always zero length.
We have another 2100A running DU 3.2c, and that machine can FTP to
the 4100's as well as the 2100A running DU 4.0 without a problem.
Does anybody have any helpful pointers here? Is there a bug with
the built-in FTP functionality that I haven't heard about? Will I
need to install a 3rd party FTP package on the DU 4.0 2100A?
