Thanks to Matt Thomas. The bottom line is that there are (at least?)
two 10/100BaseT cards, the DE500-AA and -XA. The -AA is only supported
by DUnix 4.0A and above. I'm still at 4.0 so the card did not work
for me. The -XA cards in the other two hosts work fine (as expected).
I will upgrade soon to 4.0B...
