Installing Digital Unix on a AlphaStation 255

Hi -

  I have an AlphaStation 255 that previously had OpenVMS - AXP
  software installed on it. I now need to convert this machine
  to Digital UNIX 4.0. Can anybody give me a hint as to the
  firmware issues that I need to be aware of. I am assuming
  that if I upgrade the firmware, then I should be able to just
  do a clean installation from the cdrom. Am I correct??
