Hi,

Thanks to: Bob Sloane <sloane_at_UKANS.EDU> and
              Alan <alan_at_nabeth.cxo.dec.com>

They pointed me to the mtio(7) man page who explain in details how
these tape devices work!

My original question follows:
>
> I had an AlphaServer 400 4/166 running DU3.2c, I had a TAPE drive and
> use the default device /dev/rmt0h to access it. I would like to know if
> the others devices had different actions when used like in Solaris. I had
> the following devices: /dev/rmt0a /dev/rmt0h /dev/rmt0l /dev/rmt0m

                                           Thanks,

                                                     Antonio.
