Thanks for all responses.
Few mentioned that I need other dux version
3.2g or even v4. I found in dux 3.2c release notes
this:
1.4 new hardware:
the following new hardware options are now supported:
DE500(PCI Fast Ethernet)
Now I am trying to make it work at 10 mbps (I saw how
it works on pc and on wnt3.51). I am suspecting that
it also can be firmware problem?
When I change modes to :
ewa0_mode Twisted-Pair - no link , no activity (on led)
ewa0_mode Auto (or Fast) - starts jamming network
When I changed ewa0_mode to Auto I received this message:
ewa0: link failed : Using 100BaseTX: full duplex (and jamm again)
After that at unix boot ( Digital Unix V3.2D-1):
tu0: console mode: selecting UTP (10BaseT) port: nolink
More details about DE500 on axppci33 motherboard:
network card - de500-aa
firmware version X4.7-1860, built on Nov 1 1996
(also tried X4.5-2720)
DUX v3.2d-1
Thanks,
Valdas.
