My question was what should the fsck parameter be in /etc/fstab when using
ADVfs. The man pages said use 2, but syscheck said 1 for root and
nonduplicate for other.

I called Digital on this one. The DEC guy said he would go with what the
man page says - use 2 for all. He said that syscheck can still be somewhat
buggy.
So, I guess I'm going with 2 for all and ignoring the syscheck messages.
