Using DD to copy a raw disk

Hi managers,

I was using DD to copy a raw disk to another raw disk. The input/output
disk
size is 2GB. Both of the disks are part of different stripesets.

It took over 2 hours to copy the disk. Is it normal for DD to take this
long?

I was using the following syntax:

        dd if=/dev/rrza34c of=/dev/rrza35c

Is there any other options that I need to use with dd? Is there another
utility available which does an image backup?

Any input will be appreciated.
