[Help] Booting DECserver900TM from 2nd NIC card

Dear Osf managers,

I have 2 network cards configured on Alpha 2100 running DU 3.2c.

Both cards have the following ip-address and subnetmask
tu0 192.228.248.12 netmask 255.255.255.0
tu1 192.229.248.12 netmask 255.255.255.0

tu0 is connected to the network and tu1 is connected with a cross-cable
directly to a DECserver 900TM.
tu0 is working fine and tu1 can be 'ping'ed.

My problem is the DECserver 900TM is unable to boot from tu1 eventhough
it is configured to boot from it.(the /etc/bootptab files have the gw set to
192.229.248.12)

I have also added to static routes for both networks 192.228.0.0 and
192.229.0.0 to go thru their respective cards.

Thanks in advance.
