Mail Looping

Hi managers,

Currently, we are using Digital Firewall and have a mail server behind
the firewall (e.g. mail.abc.net, ip 1.1.1.10). When a local user send a
local mail using email address "abc_at_1.1.1.10", the nightmare started.
The mail server treat that mail as non-local and forward it to the
Firewall for process.

However, the firewall resolved the address of the mail server and sent
it back to the mail server. Thus, yield the mail looping and seriously
degraded both servers.

I thought that sendmail.cf may be mis-configured but I had no idea on
how to change it. Any comments are welcomed. Many thanks.
