Hi all
We are planning to migrate our DEC 8200 from DU3.2B to DU4.0B. We
have not yet decided to do an upgrade (DU3.2B --> 3.2C -->
4.0 --> DU4.0B) or to do a new installation of DU4.0B. DEC support
said, it is better to do a full installation of DU4.0B because
things of LSM have changed (layout of /, /usr and swap).
On our 8200 box we use LSM and AdvFs on all filesystems, they are
all mirrored by LSM.
The question now:
For a full (new) installation of DU4.0B, how can I preserve the
configuration of LSM and AdvFs (except for /, /usr and swap), so
all my datas will be kept untouched?
I will summarize!
Thanks to all
Hans Ulrich
