Hi everybody.
This is the announcement for a small new package named TapeUtils which
includes some tools to improve and simplify tapes handling on Digital
Unix.
TapeUtils includes a VMS-like tape units allocation/deallocation system and
an enhanced version of Ed Bailey's popular juke-box loader control program,
which supports both the allocation/deallocation system and a by-user
access permission control. The tools were developed to satisfy some
site-specific needs, but maybe they are useful for someone else.
