ntp problem

hello alpha-osf-managers,

I have a configured a ntp server on a alpha 500/333 running digital unix v4.0B
which uses a local reference clock. At the client end i am able to set the time
to that of the server using the command ntpdate -b server-ipaddress, but iam not
able to configure the same using xntpd.

Please help me.
