SUMMARY: RAID 0 question.

Mixing of drives with different speeds is not recommended. It will
only go as fast as the slowest disk.
RAID 0 does allow mixing of drives of different size, but they use
the size of the smallest member in set.

My question was:

I would like to know if it is possible to configure a RAID 0 system
(normal striping) with disks of different size and speed. Are there
any such configurations out there? If it is possible, is 100% of the
space available, and could there be possible problems with such a
configuration?

We are using a StorageWorks RAID Array 200 Subsystem on a
AlphaServer 2000 with Unix V3.2
