mkfdmn fails

(Sorry about the previous message, my fingers slipped on the send-button...)

I have a disk re0 which contains / (re0a), /usr (re0g) and swap (re0b)
partitions. re0h is unused and I've been trying to get into use. When
I type the command

mkfdmn /dev/re0h tmp_domain

I get the following error message:

mkfdmn: can't get device size; can't figure out file system partition; I/O
error
mkfdmn: can't create new domain 'tmp_domain'

The disklabel looks like this:

# /dev/rre0c:
type: SCSI
disk: RZ1CB-CA
label:
flags: dynamic_geometry
bytes/sector: 512
sectors/track: 113
tracks/cylinder: 20

sectors/unit: 8380080
rpm: 7200

# size offset fstype Äfsize bsize cpgÅ
  a: 262144 0 AdvFS # (Cyl. 0 - 115*)
  b: 1572880 262144 swap # (Cyl. 115*- 811*)
  c: 8380080 0 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 - 3707)

  h: 4447904 3932176 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 1739*- 3707)

I'm using Digital Unix V4.0b and the disk in question is striped with
RAID0.

I must be doing a trivial error here...
