BIND 8.1.1

Dear Sirs:

I have downloaded the bind 8.1.1 and compiled it.
it is in /data/bind/src/
now could anybody give me exact steps of what I shall do from now onwards
to configure my machine as primary server plus do anybody knows some web
or ftp sites where i can find valuable information about this version.
