Run Queues and performance on alpha Servers

Hi,
We recently upgraded our system from Alpha 2100 with dual 5/375 CPUS and
HSZ40 disks and 512 Mb memory to Alpha 4100 with dual 5/466 Cpus and 1
Gb memory and HSZ50 Disks.
Both are on Digital Unix 3.2g and the application being run is based on
"unidata" Database with around 95 users interactive. When I was checking
the system with uptime and top commands the run queue on 2100 was around
23 with 95 users. But with 4100 also it is around 20-22. Is it correct
to assume that the run queue will reduce with a higher performance CPU
or should we see about the response time for a query that the users get
etc.

Another thing we have found that the Night Batch processing has
significantly improved with the 4100 system reducing the time by nearly
3 hours.

Has any one has more ideas on this and how to get satisfied that we got
value for money with the new processor.

Thanks for your help.
