Dear People:
I am trying to configura an HP LASERJET 5P in an Alpha 2100A 4/275, with
Digital Unix V4.0B.The printer is local and attached to the parallel
port.
I want to print in LANDSCAPE orientation.
Ihave used lprsetup to configura the printer, and it prints OK in
portrait orientation.
In the options from lprsetup, in the symbol for printer type I have
used: hp4M, and also hpIV,
and in the symbol for orientation (Or) I have used: landscape.
It is supposed that this is all.
I send print jobs with: lpr and it prints in portrait mode.
I also do: lpr -Plp0 -Olandscape file_to_print
in order to force to print in landscape orientation, But it continues
printing in portrait orientation.
I hope your request as soon as possible
Thanks in advance,
Sincerely
P.S:What is the setting for the dip switch in an epson FX-1050 to work
fine with an alpha and DU.?
And, what printer type should I use ( epson or fx1050) ?
