I'm stumped.
I'm trying to get joind to answer a bootp request from my
terminal server. Here's my /etc/bootptab file:
lanserv:ha=0080A317EE59:ip=134.253.237.163:td=/tftpboot:hd=/lantronix
And yes, I am running tftpd: (excerpt from /etc/inetd.conf):
tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/tftpd tftpd
/tmp /tftpboot
I am running joind in the foreground:
#/usr/sbin/joind -f -d2
Joind sees the request, but gives the following error message
and fails to satisfy the request:
received on address 134.253.237.255
BOOTP request from 00:80:a3:17:ee:59
seeking BOOTP client (1,6,00:80:a3:17:ee:59) on subnet 134.253.237.0
BOOTP from HW address 00:80:a3:17:ee:59 : no static binding for BOOTP
client and dynamic binding not enabled
WTF does this mean!?
