Can't NFS mount Solaris

We have a situation where we cannot NFS mount a Solaris machine running
2.5.1, after NFS mounting a SunOS machine running 4.1.3 for quite
sometime. Forgive me for not knowing the rev. of my current VMS OS.
But it is old. Like 5.x. We don't have the option of upgrading to VMS
7.1.

Any ideas??
