[Q] Timezone

Dear Gurus,

System: AlphaServer 2100, DU4.0B

Today, I decided to launch xntpd so as to synchronize my machine with
super-accurate-up-to-date atomic clocks. There are ntp servers on my
campus, and the script "ntpsetup" proceeded smoothly (apparently).

But ... now my machine is one hour late! And the TIMEZONE shifted
silently from MET to WET.

Well ... I looked in the manual how to fix this. "Customizing Your Time
Zone" is in chapter 4-4, where it is said "Information about configuring
your system's time zone is in chapter 5". So I go to chapter 5 where I read
"Refer to section 4.4 for information about configuring the time zone".

Funny .... Could one of you take my hand and tell me slowly and exactly what
I must do? (further reading of chapters 4 and 5 was still more confusing).

Thanks!

Jean-Loup
