My original questio/problem:
I am using Media Robot Utility 1.0 on DU 3.2G. with a TL894 (boy, is it
slick).
I am using the presupplied barcodes and this makes inventory quick, but
is there a way through MRU to get it to show me the bar codes numbers?
I.E.
(arthur)# robot show slots
SLOT: 0 Full
SLOT: 1 Full
SLOT: 2 Full
SLOT: 3 Full
SLOT: 4 Full
SLOT: 5 Full
etc.
The man pages explain that there is a way (if your library supports
them) to read the barcodes into NVRAM. The TL894 does support the
barcodes, but I can't figure out how to read them into MRU.

The solution was VERY obvious, but very well hidden.
Version 1.0 of the MRU DOES support Bar Codes, the TL894 emulates the
TL810 as far as the MRU is concerned, and DOES support bar codes. The
problem lies in the documentation for the set up of the TL894.
It says that there is an option (with the TL894 setup) under
configuration, called "No Bar Code Scan" It's tucked away, and not
documented well. Anyway. If this is disabled, that Bar Codes ARE
reflected. If it is enabled, than bar codes are NOT reflected in MRU.
A bit backward, but aren't we all.
Well, it's late. I am here late on another Saturday night. Not DEC, just
