Fast Ethernet tu1 not detected (OSF4.2B)

Dear Managers
I inserted im my Alphaworkstation 500/300 a second ethernetcard.
On consle prompt it is displayed as ewb0.
During boot only tu0 is found, not tu1.
What can I do.
Do I have to install the Patch OSF350-70, because we have the
tu0: DECchip 21040-AA: Revision: 2.4
Or is it solved under DUNIX4.2B
