I had a problem with my xtube hanging at the hourglass when trying to get
the XDM prompt. All I know so far is that it is probably a network problem.
We changed everything else and it did the same thing, we changed it to
a different subnet on a different hub (really easy as the hubs were
physically adjacent) and it works.
The odd thing is 99% of the funtionality of the xtube is there. I could do
telnets, the firmware download worked, and on occasion I did get
a login box. Very strange. Why do some kinds of packets work, and others
don't? There's nothing intelligent between me and the host (like firewalls)
just hubs.
For now I'm just happy that it works. If we discover anything of interest
I'll pass it along.
