Setting video resolution on an AlphaStation 800 5/400

How do I set 1280x1024 video mode (is it even possible?) on an
AlphaStation 800 5/400? We're using the stock S3 Trio video board (on
the motherboard, I presume). There are similar questions in the
archives, but they don't deal with this particular configuration.
