Hi neters,

today I changed the a-partition (root) from advfs to ufs. After that the console refuses to boot this disk. The console goes after initializing into the halt mode (with a second disk I can boot the system and examine the disk).

Procedure: In a fresh booted single user mode I used vdump -0f - / | (cd /mnt;vrestore -xf -)
To doubble the disk to the partition mounted in /mnt. The disk is a original RZ26 which when I boot the system with a second disk I can handle it in any way I want ( it seems not to be corrupted). The disk is shown at the console; I can mount the partions, the df result is the same as the original disk etc.

Any hints?

Best regards,
