Hi,
After chasing problems in ghostscript and ghostview I now
have gs5.03 and that rather sweet gv environment but I still
hit the gs error....
Can't find (or can't open) font file Times-Italic.
Substituting font Courier for Times-Italic.
Can't find (or can't open) font file Courier.
Unable to load default font Courier! Giving up.
Error: /invalidfont in findfont
But xlsfonts shows a whole bunch of fonts such as...
-adobe-times-medium-i-normal-
-adobe-times-bold-i-normal-
Does anyone out there understand how fonts are supposed to
work?
