Hi guys:

We have Sybase in DECs Alpha Systems. Our Sybase External Support to ask
for change "keep alive" parameter on TCP protocol. I believe the
variables for "keep alive" are:
tcp_keepidle
tcp_keepintvl
tcp_keepinit
tcp_keepcnt

However, sysconfig command give the following error for inet subsystem:
# sysconfig -q inet
framework error: subsystem 'inet' not found

And dbx give:
# dbx -k /vmunix
(dbx) print tcp_keepidle
150
(dbx) print tcp_keepintvl
15
(dbx) print tcp_keepinit
"tcp_keepinit" is not defined or not active
(dbx) print tcp_keepcnt
"tcp_keepcnt" is not defined or not active

Question: Witch is the best form to change "keep alive" parameter. How is
the form?. What happend with tcp_keepintvl and tcp_keepcnt in dbx?. What
happend with sysconfig?

We have DEC 2100, DU 3.2D-1, Sybase 10.0.2.7

Thanks in advanced
