Thanks so much for the quick response from everyone. Basically
everyone responded that there is no utility to create a bootable tape
under DU 3.2. Most everyone is doing regular vdumps of the root file
system and partitions. If you lose your root file system you can boot
from the CD and restore everything using vrestore. There were also
suggestions to mirror the disk to decrease the likelihood of a root
disk failure. Now I'll have to read the man pages on vdump/vrestore.
